TRAVEL MEDICINE

Travel Medicine is a branch of Preventive Medicine. It adopts special counselling to assess any contraindications to the traveller’s travel plans, and to identify, with regards to the risks of the foreign country, any entry requirements, including necessary vaccinations and prophylaxis.
Operating or service companies with international branches or construction sites in remote areas, but also sports teams participating in world competitions involving systematic travel of their personnel need medical support. Dr. Franco, who also specialises in Travel Medicine, manages all aspects, from pre- to post-travel, ensuring that travelling personnel operate under protected conditions, with a view to preventing risks to workers' health and well-being.

MEDICAL TESTS and CHECK-UPS

Franco Medical Practice offers Competent Medical services, pursuant to It. Legislative Decree 81 and travel medicine services, with special focus on risk assessment (DVR), both for regulated and unregulated risks, and draws up specific risk protocols. The medical practice offers check-ups in the Ravenna practice or at the client’s sites, besides medical tests and clinical examinations via its network of collaborators. In addition to occupational medicine advice and medical check-ups in compliance with It. Legislative Decree 81/08 for suitability for the specific types of employment, Franco Medical Service practice also offers private examinations.

Dr. Tatiana Franco is a physician for both onshore and offshore extraction and production activities. She is an expert in all areas of Occupational Medicine related to activities performed in extraction and/or drilling sites and on open sea offshore platforms. The medical practice provides care and support for medical emergencies, even with assisted medical evacuation of workers needing repatriation or admission to hospital for medical conditions.
